Using the PSP Home Menu

Everything on the PSP starts with the home menu, so once you've figured out the trick to using it, you're set. Here's how it works:

Use the left and right arrow buttons to scroll left to right to see all the main headings.
Use the up and down arrow buttons to scroll up and down (once you've scrolled sideways to the heading you want). If there is only one selection under that heading, you won't be able to scroll up and down.
Once you've reached the selection you're looking for (the current selection will be flashing), press the X button to choose it.
If there are further selections to be made under the heading you've chosen, continue to use the arrow buttons and the X button to navigate through them.
To unselect something, press the circle button (sometimes you'll also need to navigate out using the arrow buttons).
Some items (such as viewing photos) have further options that can be access by pressing the triangle button.
