Diagram of TA-082 code on PSP motherboard seen through UMD door

In case you find it too difficult to see the code locations from the previous image, here's a diagram that might help. I've exaggerated the amount of green circuitboard visible to better show the code locations.

Remember, the code "IC1003" in copper-colored letters on the right side, in the area indicated by the red circle on the diagram, means you have a TA-082 motherboard and can not use the Undiluted Platinum modchip in your PSP.

The code "IC6001" in the area indicated by the blue circle, or some other code, means you have another model motherboard (not TA-082), UNLESS "IC 1003" also appears on the right. You can use the modchip in your PSP.
