The 364-acre park is home to 14 roller coasters, a 15-acre water park, a classic merry-go-round, a children's area and a plethora of shops, food stands and exciting rides.Tickets are available from Kings Island--online, by mail, by phone or in person at the attraction's onsite ticket office (open seasonally). However, several discounts are available, both from the park itself and from other area retailers. The single day adult admission is just $42.99 if you buy online and print your own ticket. This compares to $63.99 if you buy your ticket at the gate. 02 of 09 Season Passes (courtesy of Paramount Kings Island) If you plan to visit Kings Island more than once this season, you can save money by purchasing a season pass. Passes for 2016 start at $120.00 per adult and you can pay in three equal monthly payments. There is also a gold season pass that includes free parking and early admission as well as a platinum pass that includes unlimited admission not only to Kings Island, but to any other Cedar Fair park (including Cedar Point) for the 2016 season. For 2016, group rates start at $37.50 per adult. You can also add a picnic lunch for your group for just $11.50 extra. Prices for the 2016 tickets have not yet been announced. There are no Meijers stores in Cleveland. The nearest one is in Mansfield.
