Myst Finally Coming to PSP
Sunday July 12, 2009
I had actually thought that Myst came out for PSP in North America ages ago, and that somehow I just missed ever seeing it in the store. I'd probably have bought it without hesitation if I did see it, though since I played the original on PC way back when, I never went in actual search of the game.
It turns out that Myst hadn't yet been released in North America, which explains why I never saw it anywhere. But that is about to change. This coming Thursday, July 16th, Myst will be available for PSP download on the PlayStation Network. It will be the same game as the original--for those not familiar with the game, Myst drops you on an uninhabited island where you have to solve puzzles to figure out what happened there--but will also include the Rime Age, which was not included in the original release.
Myst has been available for both DS and iPhone/iPod Touch for a while now--as soon as I get my hands on the PSP version, I'm going to use it in my upcoming PSP-iPhone and PSP-DS hands-on comparisons. (Source: Hoplite Research, via Gamers Daily News.
