Fire Attributed to Third-Party Charger

At the beginning of February a story was making the rounds about a boy whose PSP caught fire in his pocket, causing second-degree burns. More recently, investigation by the local fire department determined that a third-party charger was the most likely cause. Apparently, the charger--made by accessories manufacturer Pelican--overcharged the PSP the night before, causing it to eventually overheat and catch fire. I suppose the lesson here is to stick with first party chargers.(Via PSP Updates.)
