PSP-Formatted Hiking Guides

Thursday May 25, 2006
Here's something cool that bodes well for the future utility of the PSP: iHikes has a library of videos -- including trail guides for National Parks -- formatted for mobile digital media players like the PSP, iPod, PDA, or computer. They have quite a few free downloads, and for the rest of the content you can either pay as you go (99 cents per clip) or pay an annual fee of $19.95 USD for unlimited downloads. This could be a useful site if you do much hiking or plan to visit any National Parks in the US, and it's one more way that non-game developers are making use of the PSP's features. (Via PSPworld.)
