UK Gets Official PSP Magazine

Friday May 19, 2006
PSP: The Official Guidebook has finally come out in the UK, after some delays. The bi-monthly magazine was originally scheduled for a late April release, and intended to replace a series of irregularly-published specials. It includes a UMD with playable demos, music videos and video clips. PSP: The Official Guidebook joins Go Play and Pure PSP on UK newsstands, while here in North America, we have yet to see a single PSP-only magazine. Surely there'd be a big enough market? (Via PSPCrazy and Media Week.)

If anyone knows of any other PSP magazines out there in the world, feel free to leave a comment.

For UK magazines, try checking the magazine sections in large chain bookstores–sometimes they get UK magazines in regularly. Or ask at a specialty newsstand or amgazine shop; they should be able to tell you how much it would cost.

As for demos, there aren’t many yet, though hopefully that will change. It looks like they’ve started to put demos in the content packs: http://www.us.playstation.com/pspcontentpack And once Sony’ online service launches, there should be downloadable demos there, but I guess we’ll see.
