Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 Updates
Thursday May 18, 2006
Neuros has released a firmware update for their MPEG4 Recorder 2 that fixes the incompatibilities with PSP firmware version 2.70. When PSP firmware 2.70 was released it was quickly discovered that PSPs with the updated version would not play back video recorded on a memory stick using Neuros' recorder. This update resolves those issues, so if you've been waiting to update your firmware or waiting to buy this recorder because of the incompatibility, you don't need to wait any longer.
The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 can record video directly from a video source (such as your tv cable or satellite receiver box, dvd player, VCR and more) to a memory stick, already formatted for viewing on a PSP (or iPod) with no conversion required. (Info via Neuros and PSPworld.)
